I've observed this as well Grik.....it does seem like a smaller contingency are contributing compared to say two or three years ago(I first logged on back in Oct 2011).
I follow your same cadence as well when seeking gorgeous feet and toes, usually start with the guild, then the homepage to cycle through the latest uploads, and even lately I've been going into my account looking through my past favorites list.
Perhaps things will get a bit more jubilant once the "reply button" returns.

PS I am constantly amazed how often i am the first to comment on the sites of so many of the gorgeous babes on WikiFeet.
I suppose we all have our different MO's
Sometimes I put in a first name in the 'search' engine; other times I check the guild and follow that; other times I go as per the home section. What I have noticed is that there are far less contributors than before, and most sites have the usual suspects opining.
