She made comments back in the late 2011 to late 2012 time frame toward Wikifeet. I'm really having problems tracking down those comments she made back then. Amazingly, that time frame now seems so really long ago but, I will keep trying.

it's more like she is not educated about the cause of a foot fetish rather than hating us. i get that some people get nasty about it and THAT puts women off on guys with a foot fetish but overall i think if a normal not creepy guy explained it more women would be accepting of us rather than viewing the entire community as gross and creepy.

yeah you can compliment a woman's appearance and any aspect of it without sounding creepy. something simple like 'you have cute feet, they look nice' is not that bad and probably sounds funny to them, but some dude on the internet saying 'i want to slobber all over them after you've been drumming for hours' or openly stating something crazy like them wanting an FJ from her which i DEFINITELY have seen been commented on multiple women's social media accounts fucked it up for us who are perfectly able to voice our thoughts in a lighthearted and polite way that makes the point come across without sounding like a speaking restraining order.

What happened

She hasn't gone anywhere... I'm subscribed to her YouTube channel for a year now and she has uploaded 20+ videos since then. She's even replying to comments personally. Still making kick-ass music, drum covers as well as some original songs, just not barefoot anymore. :-(

Bummer. I've tried it both ways; I can see the 'power' thing, but I like having the 'feel' of the pedals. And I've never had an issue with the feet pervs! ;) Every time I come here, I think of my buddy @Toe (a drummer & huge fan of Meytal) & sure miss him on-board here.

I prefer my football shaped bedroom slippers when drumming. Just the right feel between barefoot and solid at the soles. I still love her feet. She has the right to feel however she wants to feel about it. As long as she doesn't call me that to my face, we will be fine. And there is an all-girl band named The Iron Maidens. Not bad either. Nikki Stringfield justifies her name as a guitarist! Wanda Ortiz is slammin on the bass. Call me when you learn why it's good to have a foot man in your life Meytal!
