Whether you like her feet or not (I personally find them quite sexy), she has to be recognized as an icon and pioneer for every barefoot performer that followed.

She was the first popstar to go barefoot watching a documentary she said she did not like it she only did it because the producers and management told her to do it when on stage my favourite period was when she ditched that around 1984 started to wear boots signed With Rough Trade went alternative sung on Top Of The Pops Hand In Glove with one my favourite bands The Smiths
