From experience. My wife was 6'0" when we married. She called me shortly after that, very upset because she had put about $700 on our credit card for shoes that fit. She wore 12b (narrow) and sometimes had to buy 13s, depending on the brand. She was aware of my attraction, but we were young and broke, and in 1982, $700 was a lot of money. I used an inflation calculator, which was $2,225 in today's dollars. I guess I shouldn't surprised, our rent was $400. I wasn't upset. Anyway, the shoes can be had. They may not be readily available, so you take advantage of the opportunity. Just curious. Did you think the shoe size would be bigger or smaller?
