2016-04-17 22:16:32 REALLY? I always heard 'standard' size for modeling shoes is 7M, and that is what we always used as the 'display' at my shoe store (unless out of that size). That was in the late 70s though. Things change.

2014-05-12 12:02:04 @Sherman Average, is exactly the point. In advertising, people want to see themselves reflected in the ads. How are you going to get women to buy the products that you advertise? In this case, you use a foot model with average looking feet, which is undoubtedly what most women have.

2014-05-12 12:28:43 Disagree guys. Advertising is about the image, and selling the product, and making you feel inadequate if you don't partake. An average looking foot in footwear will not sell as many as an exquisite foot in the same footwear.
