2018-05-05 19:48:43 This is the woman they originally wanted to play The Wicked Witch of The West, in The Wizard Of Oz. They couldn't get her, so they chose Margaret Hamilton instead.

2020-04-19 09:01:36 Actually, they had her, but she refused to wear the make-up to look ugly. Sondergaard has the distinction of winning the first ever Best Supporting Actress Oscar for “Anthony Adverse”.
