Perhaps my least favorite nail polish color (fungus yellow) but that's a temporary thing, her toes look quite good, without help from the excessive glow/fuzz often seen in photography in that part of the world (Japan, South Korea afflicted with too much of that in women's photos)

I'm like you with the yellow, but one set on Angie Harmon's page with her sporting yellow and she looked fantastic with it.

I've seen exceptions also, and yeah, great feet in the right lighting/setting will easily annul the slight negativity of that color. I must say though that I also prefer solid colors, even if yellow, over overly elaborate nail designs. Some fancy stuff can be cool (or even great) but often it's overdone, a distraction, and throws off the eye.

Well said, Doc. I, too, tend to shy away from overdone nails. In her defense, it looks like an attempt to match her shoes that failed in my mind. See how much better she looks in the more traditional red (5934769).

And Jim, tons of money is spent on the overly elaborate intricate stuff. Just unnecessary but perhaps (and they will tell you) many women do it for themselves or each other although I've met some thinking guys would like that more than the good solids. -- As for the nail color to shoe color matching, that's also something I've seen women do quite often and I find it to often be a fail. "Matching" perfectly is hard to begin with but a stark contrast is always more visually striking, better than even a perfect match. I never got the urge to "match" but then again I think like a dude and know my thought processes are different than most ladies I've known and that's aside from being a life long foot aficionado but just in general.
