@BiB60 and Casey Anthony is opening a business as a photographer, so it's full circle, maybe she do glamour work to rival Harry Langdon Jr.. Or maybe she'll remain just another child murdering sociopath, life is full of possibilities. BTW at this writing Harry Langdon Jr. remains a lucky SOB (present tense) still doing occasional shoots with starlets and he has a nice facebook page where he interacts with the public. An interesting guy to talk to, from his father to him his father (the silent film star) recollections span the entire history of Hollywood.

@BiB60 His work is so majestic that is hard to believe anywhere ever looked like that, I'm sure that the unspoiled National Parks were hard to take a poor photograph of, but what he did with them was otherworldly. The portentous light over the horizon. The wonderful contrasts. Black in White photography can achieve so much in the right hands. Some subjects truly hard to take poor photographs of. I travel the country photographing lighthouses in my spare time and most are that way. I suspect some of our subjects here are as well, I've yet to see a poor photograph of Raquel Welch for instance.

Word! On both Ansel & Raquel. >"Some subjects truly hard to take poor photographs of." I think I just mentioned... Charlie's Angels and Wonder Woman! ;) I've told the story, but I used to have my Nikon FM on a tripod on 1/30th shutter speed (so as not to get the 60Hz 'stripe' on the TV) and shoot color slides off of those shows, especially original Charlie's Angels. LOL.

@BiB60 ...And that's where Harry Langdon Jr found some of his subjects. Of course no-one seemed to take enough photographs of Kate Jackson. Even with all my efforts, the meager size of some of the galleries from the 70's and 80's frustrate me. There must be an enormous amount of negatives and prints that have never found there way to digital form on the internet

@BiB60 How did they come out? I'm amazed at how many of the better shots I've posted are essentially photographs of photographs. Which can look like utter garbage in the wrong hands, but can be quite effective when they know what they are doing. A friend of mine has recorded classic sports interviews from the TV and posts to youtube. Because the quality is not pristine the NFL and MLB leave them alone as far as copyright. He's done some high quality ones with my equipment and they have been removed immediately.
