"Shemale" is offensive outside of pornography and the sex business actually. Within porn, it refers to someone who was born with male genitalia and still has them, but also breasts and other attributes commonly associated with women. KJ probably called herself a shemale at some point, but it's still a word you should avoid using outside your keyword search. I looked her up, she doesn't have male genitalia, so the word wouldn't apply even within pornography anymore.

Guys, even on the new walls, we had a huge brouhaha about this (yes, on the @Bailey_Jay wall, and *several* others). Some of us had to 'agree to disagree' on what the actual 'gender' of the individual is, whether TV or TS (and pre- or post-op 'in the basement'). I think the 'bottom line' we could all somewhat agree upon was that their IMDb listing is the deciding factor--- if a person is listed as 'female' on IMDb (regardless of their criterion for deciding such), then a page *can* and probably *will* be opened here by someone. We agreed that there are people who will want to view that material, which drives more traffic, which makes more *money* so it's not going away. But some of us felt it'd be nice to have some sort of flag on the page that the gallery has pics of someone not a cisgendered (natural-born) woman. That's not likely to happen, so... caveat emptor. When in doubt, check IMDb (for movie credits like, "Shemales from Space" or whatever), or Google 'em. Or most fun of all, make a comment about how hot 'she' is, then let a fellow Wikifeeter drop a link on you in the comment wall while everyone else snickers knowingly! (:^p)
