2018-03-30 09:40:17 One of the cool things about the internet and not watching TV is I go off on tangents that interest me. I'm watching a 2003 documentary on ancient history of Britain. She is the host and back then was strikingly beautiful. No feet; she's trudging around in marshes in boots. Pleasantly surprised to find her here.

2018-03-30 23:05:08 An interesting path led me there starting with WF. Astonishingly beautiful women from all parts of the world got me watching some clips on anthropology, language, DNA and the human genome. Included side tracks to Neanderthal/Modern Human intermixing university lectures, Pangaea, tectonic plate movement, indigenous people migration. In the middle of the that I took a detour to learn about quantum theory and the duality of light and matter. I guess this all started with beautiful Asian women eyes. Now more than ever, I wonder why we have schools.

2021-04-28 18:40:01 Ha! I just looked her up after seeing her in a documentary about the Vikings. I was looking to see if there were any clips on YouTube that could tell you how likely it is that you had Viking ancestors and this clip came up in my search.

2021-04-28 19:14:16 If you are European then almost any Euro alive 1200 years ago that has descendants today is ALSO likely to be your ancestor. It's been mathematically modeled, not just by the astronomically raw numbers but also allowing a TON of inbreeding and very small movements of people. So you have no record but still you are likely descended from Charlemagne, Ragnar Lothbrok, Alfred, Vladimir the Great, Otto the Great, and some Pope getting it on the side etc -- and maybe even the Prophet Muhammed if one has Spanish or even English ancestry..... PLUS also the ditch digger town drunk who had a way with the ladies and so many nameless peasants... Interesting old site if into it. https://humphrysfamilytree.com/ca.html

2021-05-02 17:54:36 Doc, I don't know about the town drunk or the Prophet Muhammad but I may have been related to Tollund Man. Here's an exact quote from a report I got after giving them a sample of my DNA: "One of the most famous examples of a preserved bog body comes from Denmark within your genetic signatures boundary. This body has been named Tollund Man..."
