Jamie Loftus, an American comedian and performance artist, has an active social media presence and many images and likenesses can be found online. This post will serve to delve into her self published images, IG: jamiechristsuperstar, in an attempt to determine the size and quality of her feet. Though many images have been posted of J. Loftus, there does not seem to be any particular focus or attention given to the feet. Without making rash judgements about the motives or prejudices this might imply, it certainly makes any objective emperical analysis more challenging. For example, in the "Mirror Selfie" of March 21st, 2018 we can clearly see a well defined, gentle sloped, and aesthetically pleasing, albiet partial of the left foot. (Though this may appear to a casual glance confusing, consider the tattoo above the ankle and the mirror effect present to determine which foot is being displayed) A more clear image of both feet can be found in the now infamous "Shrek" post of May 11, 2017; notably re-uploaded Nov 9, 2017 as an ostensible promotion of a J. Loftus & 'the Bechdel Cast' collaboration. Again, the image is unfortunately not foot centric, although the quality and beauty of the feet is clearly evident despite this. Though oft neglected, and shyly peeking through, any doubt of beauty can be cast aside when we gaze upon this artists perfect podophilic petals. To determine size we can judge the generally appropriate sizing of feet against J. Loftus' 5'4" frame. But for more detail I will refer and analyze the image "Blueberry" from Jun 19, 2017. This image selection is made despite the fact that the feet are shod, due to the foot, left, being in clear profile AND importantly contained in the same image is a "standard candle!" I refer of course to the PG58XLR dynamic vocal microphone held aloft by her own hand! Weighing 2.2 lbs, and measuring a standard 7.2"x3.5"x3.5" this is a perfect tool to size our, up till now, mysterious motators! As I am sure we are all aware, the common short form algebraic formula for determining a US women's shoe exterior measurement is S+1.25. Where S, size, is in inches and the resulting number is compared to the standard US women's shoe size comparison chart and adjusted by brand! A simple yet detailed pixel comparison later, and we can see that the shoe in question is unquestionably 1.33 x PG58XLR, giving us an exterior measurement: 9.576". Plugged into our formula, and compared to the sizing chart: 8.426" is an appropriate, beautifully petite women's size 5-5.5 depending on fit.
