She was a former Miss America, and featured in an episode of Star Trek wherein Mr. Spock had a fling with her. She made the rounds as a guest star in quite a few 60s & 70s shows, if I recall, and seems like was really famous in a Polaroid camera commercial (maybe with James Garner?). Check her IMDb.

All this is 100% correct. Her Star Trek episode was called "All our yesterdays - S03E23". She was a knock out but left the movies business way too soon. A real beauty, IMHO.

She never left the business actually. She is stil active, she just doesn't get the starring roles anymore. That's the way it goes for actresses. Especially from her era. As they age the opportunities for good roles diminish. Marietta was a good looking woman. Nice feet, too. But as of today, she's 75 years old. Wow that's hard to believe!

Indeed! But she has had 2 main roles in her heyday: "Ride the High Country" and "Barquero". Meaning, she was under ranked even in the 60's. Short haired stunning beauty. I miss her very much.

Like I said, she's still kicking at age 75. In fact, there's a TV ad for the Nissan Rogue where a couple picks up one of them's parents at the airport and decide to race home, each in their own Rogue. You may have seen it. As Edwin Starr's "War" plays in the background, the race ends in a tie, at which point the mother says, "Next time I'll drive!" If you look closely, you'll see the mother is played by Mariette Hartley.
