Ugh, toe cutoff... Monster tats like this look one way on close up but then on full length or any distance shots look like monster BLOBS, like a growth or something gross. With distance, it doesn't even matter how "skilled" or well done the blob like tat may be when looking closer. In the end, it's huge FAIL. The other affect is to shorten limb length perception and increase thickness perception (here in an unwanted place, the ankle). Sorry tat lovers, please don't take it as a general anti-tat rant but one against that type and location.

The lady has lovely feet.

Her feet look good, but the tattoos are not attractive. I generally don't like foot tats, but I don't let it bother me if they at least look good. I hate to be critical, but these don't flatter her feet, at all. 😢
