2016-06-07 05:02:00 @Reesie- I've used and sworn by a Firefox add-on called Video Download Helper for decades, but 5.6.1 has let me down... become too complicated and now requires a converter, which contains adware. @Toe and others have recommended Media Stealer but it's too complicated also. I recently switch to one called Easy Youtub Video Downloader Express 9.08. It's easy, has a link right on the YouTube page, gives several options for download format, and has been working consistently and simply. Give it a go if the other one doesn't work for you.

2016-06-07 05:07:49 I'm still in the market. (For download add-ons I mean, @Reesie!) I may give it a try also, especially if it works on 'protected' videos like Vevo & such. OH, this one's a web-based one. I've had trouble with all those I used to use also on Vevo & other protected content since Google took over YouTube. How 'bout it, @Toothpick? Does it work on most everything? I like that you can also strip off an MP3 track in one stop... usually that's a separate website or add-on.

2016-06-07 05:33:13 @BIB Only works on YT,I used to use an app called "Tunebite" (downloaded cracked version from torrent) for DRM removal when I used to have Rhapsody subscription I believe it also worked on protected vids also.

2016-06-07 05:52:03 @TT- I'm only talking about YouTube, but most of them now won't download any Vevo videos off YouTube, or any others copyrighted by the big companies like Warner, etc. Almost all the ones I used to use now cannot download those.

But... and I quote this only so that those in our drinking/smoking game can take a shot or a hit... ► When reporting a duplicate picture, make sure you report the lesser quality one and not the better copy. Please don't rely on resolution alone and check the actual pictures. |
