2024-09-13 01:14:17 Maybe not Italian origins but possibly last name origin is Belarus, Ukraine or western Russian where the "ko" ending is common in Cyrillic but on the conversion to the Latin script of Poland, they may have changed it to "co". The town she was born is near the border with Belarus and people moved and mixed years ago. Also "Izabella" is super popular female Polish first name now days.

2024-09-13 01:25:32 well just went to imdb and it has her father, Lech, spelling it the more traditional way, Skorupko, which is classically from the eastern euro areas I mentioned above. Whether she changed it to seem more exotic, or Italian, I don't know but it's clear it was changed from the common "k" to the "c"
